  • Involves about 80km of good hard packed dirt road, of which about 40km is gravel topped. Keep a wary eye out for wildlife & roadkill. About 10hrs by car, 12hrs by bike mainly because of the gravel. Watch out for plod between Yea & Mansfield. 24hr Fuel stops at Mansfield, Myrtleford and Tumut. However Whitfield, Yackandandah, Tallangatta, Tumbarumba and Wee Jasper close early so plan carefully (I've got a 22L tank and can cover about 400k). No fuel at Rosewood, so duck out to Holbrook. Recommend overnighting at Tallangatta, makes for a more pleasant run. Cheers.
