Start point of our run to Hornsby. Travelling to Hornsby, we will divert onto to the Seacliffe Bridge at Coalcliffe for a scenic stop if time allows, then go home via Route 6 from the turn off at Heathcote going northward

Fill up at Caltex on the right of the Monaro Hwy as we leave town.

Turn right here. Quieter road. Short cut to the Route 52

Wide hwy but some 80 kpm sections

Follow Molongo St ahead to get off Kings Way and Route 52

Turn left here

We can go under the highway overpass, and do a loop to get to the Old Bakery for lunch and fuel at the servo. Garoorigang Road is a little left turn before the Freeway overbridge, and this is qucker and easier to get to the old bakery in Sowerby Street

Lunch and petrol here. Great meals. This is opposite a large mobil station with full range of fuels.

We will turn rt onto the Illawarra Hwy. Just a few Kms up the Hume HWY is Belangalo Forest, Where Ivan Milat murdered 7 back packers in the 1990s

We pass the well known Pie Shop on the left after the township. Robertson is an old world village on the highway.

Beautiful lush and steep pass ideal for motorcycles. Look for spilt sand from trucks. Go slow and enjoy the scenery.

Some of this road is slow due to lights and 60 zone. Busy at most times.

We turn rt here to get over to the coast

This is a give way sign and you must move quickly when you turn right.

The Seacliffe Bridge starts here

We can get off and walk the bridge for a break. Fantastic ocean views. In fact, you are directly above the ocean some of the time. We will double back after a rest and head north.

We travel on the Princes Hwy by turning rt at the end of Lawrence Hargreave Drive. The associated map mistakenly has drawn the Freeway route but you cant actually access the Freeway to head north. Princes Hwy will rejoin the freeway at Waterfall and take us to Heathcote.
