This route includes 22 miles or so of fire roads still open after the Santiago Fires of 2007. More fire roads should be open by the end of the year (2008). This can only be run on a dual-sport motorcycle with valid registration, DOT tires and USFS certified spark arrestor. There ARE rangers on the trails and they DO check. Ride safe and please respect the road closures.
