The way points of this motorcycle route:
take the bells line of road to Lithgow. Some great stretches on this road. watch out for speed camera in the 60 zone
visit the small arms museum or crack on
take a right at Macdonalds towards Mudgee
Take a right here. Good surface
You can stop in Rylestone or Kandos for lunch. Good idea to fill up on petrol here too.
Take a right down Bylong valley way. road was mostly sealed last time I rode it and they were in the process of finishing it, there was only a couple of ks of easy gravel anyhow
stunning scenery around here. very quiet roads
If you need food or drinks take a left to Sandy Hollow or turn right down the Golden Highwway
Here you have a choice. You can head back to Sydney via Putty Road which is a great medium fast paced route with some dangerous spots or you can take the Broke Road which is narrower with some great twisties and very scenic
take a right here
watch out for bumpy surfaces in places and some tight bends. some convict history along here
Pub famous amongst sydney bikers here. few tearooms and a museum aswell
take a left here. faster paced good surface
Here you can head down the old pacific highway or if you've had enough blast down the freeway back to Sydney for a bottom massage
