This trip was made in 1 day making plenty of stops for gas, eats and pics. A better way would be to overnight in Natchitoches and do some sightseeing there, if you've never visited there before.
Turn right (North) on LA 395
Turn right (East) on Hwy 190
Meet up with Steve & Karen. Jim Bowie Museum is just down the road.
Turn left on LA 743, now the scenic part of the trip starts
Turn left (West) on LA 103
After viewing the areas historical sites, turn right (North) on LA 10/182
Continue North on LA 182 as LA 10 turns East
Continue North as LA 182 becomes LA 29
Turn right (East) as LA 115 joins LA 29
Turn left (North) on LA 115. LA 29 continues straight
Turn left (West) on LA 114
Turn left (North) on LA 1
Continue North on LA 1 as LA 8 joins it
Continue North on LA 1 as LA 8 turns West
Turn Right on LA 490 and make the loop
Turn right (North) back on LA 1
Turn right on LA 119 (Plantation Scenic Road)
Turn rigth as LA 494 joins LA 119
Continue on LA 494 as LA 119 turns left
Site of a couple movies. Plenty of historic homes and buildings. A good place to visit.
Turn right for a cruise down the brick lined Front St.
Left on Church St.
Turn left on 2nd St.
Turn right on LA 6
Turn left on LA 1 Bypass
Turn right (South) on LA 1
Turn right on LA 119
Turn right on LA 8
Turn left on LA 118
Turn left (East) on LA 28
Turn right on MacArthur Dr.
On the circle, take Hwy 165 South
