The way points of this motorcycle route:
Leaving Campbell River you can take Hwy 28 or Quinsam Road. Quinsam is a little shorted but its surface is rough and in poor condition in places.
The nature of the highway changes as you cross the bridge, heading for Gold River. The twistd nature of the road improves.
you can carry one to the end of the road or stop for a coffee or bite to eat.
