  • Kangaroo Ground

  • The run through the Christmas Hills is a gentle cruise through some nice twistys. Take it easy as it is well policed and traffic can be heavy later in the afternoon, but it's a great way to get to the Yarra Ranges rather than take the main roads.

  • Maybe stop in Yarra Glen for a quick coffee.

  • Black Spur

    at 35km
  • One of Melbourne's favourite roads. Very well surfaced, but can get heavy traffic during the middle of the day on weekends.

  • Stop for a coffee and maybe lunch at the 'In Neutral' cafe - very bike friendly - before heading up the Lake Mountain road.

  • Cumberland Junction

  • You are now entering the Reefton Spur. A great twisty run, but be careful of the road surface - it can get mossy and be covered in leaf litter.

  • Reefton Pub

    at 101km
  • Another bike friendly venue, popular with sportbikes, cruisers and dirt riders. Ready for a light beer yet (we don't drink while we ride, do we?). This is pretty much the end of the ride, you're now getting into main roads and heading home.
