I must confess that I haven't personally ridden many of the roads in this leg.
The exception was a quick run up thru Black Spur about 5 yrs ago.
Any input from those with the knowledge as to which roads to avoid (e.g. dirt surfaces) or whether to to UP Black Spur and DOWN Reefton Spur or vice-versa would be appreciated.
Otherwise you may have to wait for me to get the afore-mentioned leave pass and make the changes after I've done it all myself.
