Way cool! Just stumbled on this site. I've been documenting some of my daytrip routes at http://kiltdad.blogspot.com and referencing Google Maps at the end of my ride descriptions. I just changed my last post by exporting the route and importing back into MotoWhere and then posted the view of the map in the blog.

    Great Mashup!

what a great tool for planning touring routes etc with points of interest comments along the way.

    I have a Question though.

Is there maximum distance or points allowed on a route ie: is it points or distance restricted/orientated ?

I have created a ride although had to do it in 3 parts but it is just over 280klms lots of bends and twisty stuff to say the least but couldn't save when it gets to 1200 points and it doesnt want to follow road automatically either from there or am I doing something wrong ?

    Hi Jules

Absolutely fantastic, I've been hoping for something like this in google earth for ages, but with maps it is even better. Follow the road is a bit flaky, I think it only follows the major highways, and I need to be able to change the colour of the line so as to differentiate between tarmac and dirt, but this is a great first step, and I can see its going to be how ride reports are done for a long time to come.

    Cheers, Ian
